The journal's academic visibility and dissemination of scientific information have continued to expand both in China and internationally. The Chinese Journal of Cancer Biotherapy places great emphasis on the originality and scientific quality of published research. Through systematic editorial planning, careful topic selection, and active manuscript solicitation, the journal strives to attract high-quality papers addressing emerging and cutting-edge topics in cancer biotherapy. All manuscripts are subject to peer review by independent experts, and the journal follows a rigorous quality-control process in selecting papers for publication. Most of the articles published in the journal originate from national, provincial, and ministerial-level key laboratories and leading oncology research institutions in China. The journal focuses particularly on new findings, theories, technologies, and experience arising from basic and clinical research in six major areas of cancer biotherapy: cell therapy, immunotherapy, monoclonal antibody therapy, cancer vaccines, gene therapy, and small-molecule targeted therapy. For eight consecutive years, more than 70% of the papers published in the journal have reported research supported by scientific research grants. The journal also places a strong emphasis on the timely dissemination of academic research. The average period from manuscript submission to publication is approximately six months. Manuscripts reporting major innovations or first reports of important findings may be published rapidly as Rapid Communications, generally within one to two months. The journal frequently organizes groups of articles to provide systematic and in-depth coverage of specific topics. Each issue also invites prominent oncology experts from China and abroad to contribute editorials and forum articles. In the Fifth Outstanding Journal Paper Selection organized by the China Association for Science and Technology, the journal received awards for four papers, the highest number among the 426 participating journals. In recent journal standardization reviews conducted by the relevant national publishing authority and journal evaluations organized by the China Association for Science and Technology, the journal was rated respectively as a “Grade A Journal” and a “Journal with Excellent Content.” The journal enjoys a strong academic reputation and influence within the medical community in China. The Chinese Journal of Cancer Biotherapy strictly follows national standards and professional guidelines for academic editing and publishing and attaches great importance to the standardization and professionalization of journal publishing. The Editorial Office implements a rigorous system of multiple rounds of proofreading and final editorial review to maintain consistently high editorial and publication quality. The journal operates an independent website at www.biother.cn and adopts an Open Access (OA) publishing model. It has also established an online manuscript submission, peer-review, editing, and production system, which has significantly improved the efficiency and timeliness of manuscript processing and publication. Developing the Chinese Journal of Cancer Biotherapy into a high-quality journal with greater international visibility and influence remains a long-term and unwavering goal.
